Looking for a workplace where you can thrive, belong, and be celebrated for who you are? Join us for a motivating session on identifying inclusive employers that value diversity and actively support their employees.
This activity is offered as part of Future Me Week - five days of exciting opportunities to develop your skills, deepen understanding, gain experience and take steps towards an exciting Future You.

What to expect:

  • Expert insights: Join Mona Patel, EDI Specialist, and Sarah Reith, Careers Adviser and EDI Champion, as they explain why it’s important and beneficial to work for companies that celebrate diversity and support their employees.
  • Recognise genuine inclusion: Discover how to spot employers who are genuinely committed to creating inclusive and welcoming environments.
  • Practical tips: Get advice on researching companies to ensure their values align with yours.
  • Your questions answered: Submit your questions in advance of the event, or ask them during the session verbally or anonymously via Mentimeter.

We’ll cover different aspects of identity, including age, disability, ethnicity, gender, neurodiversity, pregnancy/maternity, race, religion, and sexual orientation (LGBTQIA+), giving you tools to find a part-time job, placement, or graduate role where you can truly succeed.
