Demystifying AI: How Machines Learn and Think
The session will explore key types and applications of AI, provide a basic understanding of machine learning, and include a hands-on experience to demonstrate how machines learn.
The session will start with an introduction talk presenting what is AI and exploring the transformative impact of AI could have to our future. The aim of the session is to introduce the AI concept in a way that is accessible to a general audience, addressing common misconceptions and clarifying how AI works in practice.
Additionally, the session will highlight the ethical considerations, limitations, and future potential of AI in shaping various industries and the workforce. Students will also be directed to existing university online training and relevant resources to further their understanding of AI.
