Cisco Networking Fundamentals

21st January 10:00 to 13:00
Introduction to the basic concepts of cisco network fundamentals. This is a great starting point for learners in entry-level networking concepts and skills.
This activity is offered as part of Future Me Week - five days of exciting opportunities to develop your skills, deepen understanding, gain experience and take steps towards an exciting Future You.

The activity will focus on the benefit of networking and practice how to setup up Cisco networking during Future Me Week. Cisco commands and resources will be provided to the students. This will enable them to learn and configure Cisco Packet Tracer Emulator software rather than physical hardware.

There are two ways to practice networking, either virtually or physically. Virtual labs are software based using a packet tracer that students will learn and practice during the activity session. Whereas physical labs involve using physical hardware equipment that I will showcase to students.
