Basic Camera Skills for Stills

Basic use of stills cameras (Nikon Z30 or similar) with explanation of Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO. Also covers white balance, exposure compensation and file quality settings.
This activity is offered as part of Future Me Week - five days of exciting opportunities to develop your skills, deepen understanding, gain experience and take steps towards an exciting Future You.

This session covers the basic use of digital stills cameras like the Nikon Z30 or similar.

You will learn about how to find and adjust the Aperture, Shutter Speed, and ISO settings on the camera and how these setting will allow you to take better photographs.

The session will also explain the importance of white balance, exposure compensation, and file quality settings and how these can impact your photography.
