Learn to sew on an industrial sewing machine and make a Japanese Knot Bag using donated fabrics.

Technicians will ensure you are safe to use an industrial sewing machine so that you can enjoy making a bag that you can use on holiday or as a gift for a friend or family member.
This activity is offered as part of Future Me Week - five days of exciting opportunities to develop your skills, deepen understanding, gain experience and take steps towards an exciting Future You.
  1. You will learn to sew on an industrial sewing machine with the help of technicians who will ensure your health and safety.
  2. Once you have mastered the sewing skills you will then construct a Japanese knot bag using step by step instructions.
  3. The fabrics chosen for this session have been donated so are a sustainable resource used to make the bag.
  4. The instructions will be demonstrated to you and assistance given so you will enjoy the whole experience.
