Finding Good Work in Greater Manchester: What You Need To Know
Description: This insightful session will be led by Carol Halford, Head of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter, who will introduce you to the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter and its resources. You’ll learn about the seven key characteristics of good employment and how these can ensure you thrive in your current or future job. You’ll also discover key questions to ask employers to evaluate whether a job is right for you.
The Charter and its resources highlight the importance of knowing your rights and finding employers who are committed to providing high-standard, inclusive, and supportive working conditions for their employees. By learning about what good employment looks like, you will be in a better position to make informed choices about who you want to work for and how you want to work.
You’ll also have the chance to provide feedback on the Charter and its resources, directly influencing future initiatives.
This is your chance to optimise your current or future job-searching by learning what to look for and what’s right for you.
