Making a Kurinuki plant pot

Learn the traditional Japanese pottery technique of Kurinuki in a hands-on workshop with ceramicist Laura Negus. Create your own unique piece to take home – all materials provided! Perfect for beginners and experienced alike.

Kurinuki is a traditional Japanese pottery technique that involves hollowing out and carving clay to create a form, it is an intuitive and meditative process resulting in unique sculptural pieces.

Ceramicist Laura Negus will guide you through the process step by step and you will be able to take your piece home with you on the day. This workshop is ideal for beginners, but those with more experience are also very welcome.
