
CPR Certification with St John Ambulance 2:30-4:30 pm session
2-hour CPR certificate
This short course covers all the essential skills for dealing with an unresponsive casualty. This course is ideal for people who require the skills to resuscitate unresponsive casualties but are not required to have a Health and Safety Executive-approved first aid qualification.
Please note this is an in person course and students will be required to demonstrate knowledge and effective practical techniques. Students are advised to wear appropriate, comfortable clothing. Practical first aid training will include activities such as kneeling over casualties and acting as the casualty during the course.
Topics covered;
- Adult resuscitation (CPR) & AED
- Primary survey
- Unresponsive adult
Assessment: Continuous assessment by the trainer.
Certification: Successful students receive a certificate of competence on completion of the course.
Attendance: Arrive at least 15 minutes before the course starts and be aware that if you arrive late you may not be permitted to join the session due to the intensive nature of content covered.
