Festival of Nursing

17th April 12:30 to 15:30
A celebration of nursing which will enable final year students to focus on graduate outcomes and employability. This incorporates an employer panel, alumni and programme lead discussions.

Festival of Nursing Schedule

12.30: Students arrive in Brooks Sports Hall on Monday 17th April for lunch. Pizza & drinks will be provided.

1.30: Students to go to their allocated rooms for presentations.

Scheduled talks and presentations will rotate round the groups, with each group receiving 3x 25 minute talks then a final visit from their course leaders.

Presentations will be delivered by:

1) Careers team – Provide advice on interviews, career development and finding the right role followed by a Q&A

2) Alumni panel – Will talk about their experience as Nursing graduates followed by a Q&A

3) Post-reg team – Will provide insight into postgraduate options and specialist roles followed by a Q&A
