Marketing & Graduate Sales - Meet our Alumni

16th March 18:00 to 19:30
Thinking about a career in marketing or graduate sales? This is a great chance to come and hear from Manchester Met alumni about their experiences and get the chance to network with them over some pizza.

Thinking about a career in marketing or graduate sales? This is a great chance to come and hear from Manchester Met alumni about their experiences and get the chance to network with them over some pizza, cake and drinks.

Hearing from alumni gives you the chance to find out anything you’d like about what it’s like to go into teaching. You’ll have a chance to ask any questions you’d like and build your professional network.

The session will be split with the first half being question and answers with our alumni before giving you the chance to meet them informally with a networking session.

Confirmed Almuni Speakers:

Chris Curry – My most significant competitive advantage is my Fine Art degree. This has taken me on a journey from working behind a bar at Weatherspoon’s to building from scratch and defining the entire end-to-end social media proposition for a world-leading digital agency, working with the world’s largest brands. Alongside this, for the past four years, I have been freelancing as a photographer for Manchester Airport.

Lydia Cox – I am an influencer Manager at Ear to the Ground – A global creative agency. I have 5 years experience helping brands to use sports and gaming to lead culture. My most recent project took me to Salt Lake City working alongside PlayStation and The NBA.

I studied Fashion Buying and Merchandising at MMU 2014-2018 and have used my transferable skills to develop my career in marketing.
