What is enrichment?

Enrichment at university refers to activities and opportunities you can take part in that build on and go beyond the learning you undertake as part of your course. These activities aim to enhance your overall experience and help you develop skills that expand your expertise beyond your degree subject. They are also often fun and playful activities that can help you meet new people and build a sense of belonging at university.

Enrichment at Manchester Met includes all sorts of things such as:

  • Sports tournaments
  • Cross-subject skill development such as 3D printing or mental health first aid
  • Volunteering
  • Community projects
