Develop: Task 2

Observation and recording

Professionals working with young children need to have an accurate picture of their skills in order to provide the most effective support.  Being able to carry out accurate observations and knowing how to record this data is an essential part of this process.

By completing this activity, you will recognise the importance of accurate observation and recording of child speech, language and communication skills.  This will support you in completing your assignment for this unit.  It links directly to the learning objective for this week.
