Self regulation through Play

The following activity is intended to help you to reflect on the importance of play in young children’s lives as a platform for building their self-confidence and their ability to manage their relationships and learning.

Play is a form where children are permitted to lead activity to identify and confirm the things that they are interested in. It is argued that play is very important because it provides opportunities for children to learn, to manage their own learning both on their own, and in conjunction with others.
