This course is designed with the aim of developing your understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEN/D), both in terms of recognising and responding to children’s individual needs and in recognising an effective, systematic approach to multi-disciplinary working. The course will primarily focus on the Early Years (0-5 years age group).
This course will also explore what is meant by an enabling environment and what reasonable adjustments might be made to an environment in order to meet the individual needs of a child and/or their family. The course has been developed to allow you to work through the online content in your own time.
