Media has long depicted Arabs in a stereotypical fashion. From terrorists to illiterate desert dwellers, the media and film industry has, over the course of many years, reinforced such negative notions. But as is the case with most misconceptions, the vast majority are simply not true.

By completing this activity, you will be introduced to some common myths about Arabs which can raise your awareness about some cultural facts about Arabs and help you counter misinformation and resist prejudice perpetuated through false media.
