Westwood Academy believes that communication with parents and carers is the key to the success of a child’s educational journey, and celebrate all nationalities, languages and backgrounds. Westwood does not see language as a barrier but the foundation for a child and parent to access English as an additional language. This video created by the Principal at Westwood Academy outlines some of the strategies that have been put in place to ensure good communication.
