‘3 Act’ Structure Copy

In this section you will be learning about the ‘3 Act’ structure which is not a formula but just like writing an essay, it allows you to structure your video with a beginning, a middle and an end. These are called:

  • Act 1- The set up
  • Act 2- Confrontation
  • Act 3- Resolution

Alyssa Maio (2019) studiobinder.com

The three act structure is a narrative model that divides stories into three parts — Act One, Act Two, and Act Three, or rather, a beginning, middle, and end. Thinking about your vlog in these three acts will allow you to create a highly engaging video blog that has a higher probability of keep your audience interested in your content every step of the way.
