Top Tips for Email etiquette

Would you believe that one of the biggest complaints employers have is how students and graduates write emails. Luckily we are here to help, watch on to see what simple tips you can use to impress employers.

To complement this video, we thought we would share an email template as well, if you are emailing an employer with an application:

Subject: [Job Title] Application

Dear [person or company name],

I am writing to express my interest in the [Job Title] role, which I saw advertised on [where you saw it]. The opportunity greatly appealed to me, and I am pleased to submit my CV and cover letter for your consideration, both of which are attached to this email.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to review my application. I look forward to the possibility of hearing from you soon.

Kind regards,

[Your name]
