This set of activities will provide you with the Sustainable Development skills to become a Future Leader that recognises the need for change and is equipped with the tools to transform the world around them.

Successful leaders of the future need to acknowledge that many of the systems we have developed as a society are unsustainable. This means that things we do to meet our needs today will not be able to meet the needs of the future. Understanding sustainable development is key to changing this and innovating to create businesses, communities, and governance that build an equal, healthy, and prosperous society, living on a thriving planet.

Skill Development

Completing this set of activities will develop your skills by:

  • Understanding the concepts of sustainable development and sustainability, and what these concepts look like when applied to the real world
  • Acknowledging the need for change to meet the needs of the future and how frameworks like the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals can guide us to transform our world
  • Developing a personal motivation for sustainable development and an appreciation of the opportunities and innovation sustainability will foster
  • Becoming a leader that thinks differently and has the confidence to challenge traditional unsustainable thinking
