Welcome to the PESTLE analysis unit, in which the implications for the use of this tool are explored and the benefits to managers of organisations having a deep understanding of political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental issues.

John Dewsnap has been an Associate Lecturer (semi-retired, after over 40 years’ service in Training and Education) at MMU for over ten years, and has taught on Undergraduate through to MBA levels (including online courses with internationally-based students). Among the subjects he has been involved in at MMU are: Business and Management Studies; Business Ethics and Sustainability; Human Resource Management; and, in addition, he teaches on the Apprenticeship degree programme, for which MMU is renowned.
