Social and Emotional Development and Wellbeing (SEDW)
This eLearning module has been created in collaboration between Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU). This course is aimed at the Early Years workforce and is open access and free to use.
Throughout this course you will:
– Increase your understanding of social and emotional development and wellbeing in the early years
– Recognise the critical role of nurturing, meaningful relationships and secure attachments
– Explore how creative, playful environments and interventions support a child’s development
– Gain skills and confidence to support babies, young children and their families to promote social, emotional development and wellbeing
