Social and Emotional Development and Wellbeing (SEDW)

This GM REFLECT e-learning pack has been created in collaboration with practitioners and leaders from the Greater Manchester region as part of the GM REFLECT framework.  
Throughout this course you will:
Increase your understanding of social and emotional development and wellbeing in the early years
– Recognise the critical role of nurturing, meaningful relationships and secure attachments
– Explore how creative, playful environments and interventions support a child’s development
– Gain skills and confidence to support babies, young children and their families to promote social, emotional development and wellbeing

This e-learning has been developed as a partnership between Manchester Metropolitan University and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and is designed to support those currently working with early years children and families, or those who may want to do so in future.
