Working with adults who have care and support needs can be both challenging and rewarding. You will have an opportunity to reflect on the value of work in this field. 
 
Working together, you will consider the different types of care and support settings and the structures around these settings. You will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of the different ways people want to be supported in the community to lead a fulfilling life, to look at the skills needed to provide good care and support in different settings and to deal with situations that might challenge you. Through problem solving and applying knowledge to real life situations, we will consider the skills, attitude and knowledge needed to progress when supporting people the community.
