Research Internship Grand Challenge: Being the hero in your own health story!

Join a team of academics working to develop a computer game that engages players in cognitive behavioural therapy.

In this Grand Challenge a team of academics are developing a serious computer game that engages players in cognitive behavioural therapy. The team are working on market research, literature reviews, demo production, demo testing, community engagement for co-production, storyboarding, and illustration. The team plan to submit a funding grant in late July 2022, and therefore the internships will help prepare for this.

There are a number of different roles available, all of which are outlined below, and we’d love to recruit a wide variety of students from across the university. By getting involved in this Grand Challenge, you’ll be contributing to a developing area of research, and applying your subject knowledge and experiences in a new way.

If you’re interested in getting involved, check out the listings. When writing up your expression of interest, make sure to include details on your skills and experiences in the specific role, what you’d bring to the opportunity, and what you hope to get out of it.

This Grand Challenge will be supported by our self-study pack on Play, which will be available soon.
