Spring Woodland workshop with Hulme Community Garden Centre
Join us for this spring workshop to help take care take of our lovely woodland space.
Led by our local partner Hulme Community Garden Centre, you will be volunteering alongside other students and staff to learn all about woodland maintenance.
In this session, we’ll be focussing on maintaining walkways through the woodland, undertaking plant surveys, a
wild food forage and wildlife watch.
Most of the activities will be physical, involving shovels, spades and wheelbarrows.
The workshop will take place in all weather conditions. Please make sure you wear weather appropriate clothing, including suitable footwear (not open footwear allowed).
Meet our student sustainability ambassadors by the entrance to the Brooks building by 1.30pm. Please arrive on time. You may be refused participation if you miss the introductions to the workshop.
