Week 6: What next? (School of English alumni panel and student alumni networking mixer)

5th November 16:00 to 19:00
Thinking about your next steps? Attend this alumni panel to learn from recent School of English grads, then network and hang out with new and old friends at our student and alumni mixer.

*FREE PIZZA AND REFRESHMENTS PROVIDED!*

Wondering where your Humanities degree might take you? This event is designed to help you start answering that question. You’ll hear first-hand what life after university can look like and get practical advice on taking your first steps.

Our panel brings together recent Manchester Met graduates who are now building careers in publishing, media, education, communications and more. They’ll share the challenges they faced, the opportunities they found and their top tips for getting started, including some routes you might not have considered.

After the panel, stay for informal networking with the speakers and your peers — snacks and refreshments provided!

Date: Wednesday 5th November

Time: 16:00-17:00 (panel) 17:00-19:00 (networking mixer)
