2nd March to 6th March
This event is now FULLY booked and past the deadline to apply. Visit beautiful Athens and enjoy learning and having fun. Closed 3rd February.
This activity is offered as part of Go Global - an exciting set of activities, allowing students to engage in an international experience. Are you having problems signing up to this event? Email GGW6@mmu.ac.uk and we will try to fix the issue for you.

In this module, students develop an observation guide linked to the impacts of tourism (economic, socio-cultural and environmental) and pilot test it in Manchester by conducting structured observation, writing field notes and gathering supporting evidence in the form of pictures. After the pilot study, students refine their observation guide and then conduct a field visit to an international tourism destination. At the international tourism destination, they observe the impacts of tourism using their observation guide, write field notes and gather supporting evidence in the form of pictures. The assessment for this module is a PowerPoint presentation in which the 10 observed impacts are presented.
