The Human Edge: Thriving in a World Powered by AI
Artificial intelligence is reshaping industries, job roles, and the skills employers expect – but the most important abilities in the future of work are the uniquely human ones.
In this interactive session, we’ll explore the rapid rise of AI, what it can and can’t do, and why skills like empathy, communication, creativity, and leadership are becoming more valuable, not less. You’ll discover how your part-time work – whether in hospitality, customer service, student ambassador roles, tutoring, or admin – is already building the human qualities that AI can’t replace.
You’ll reflect on your experiences, uncover your human edge, and learn how to translate your strengths into powerful language for CVs, interviews, and future career opportunities.
This session is exclusive to Future Me Week and offers a fresh, realistic, and inspiring perspective on what it means to succeed in a world powered by AI.
