The Flood - a multi agency response to a disaster
You will visit a simulated flood in the CAVE (Brooks Building), information about the flood and the residents is revealed through interactivity with the scene (using touch points). This will help you to understand situation and the profile of the residents. You will then have the chance to work with others as a multi-agency network, consider their individual needs and decide what emergency planning/support will involve for the individuals pre, during and post emergency. There will be further information which will help you to think through your plans to respond to the situation in a way that aligns to current policy. The residents have a variety of needs and we you will enjoy working through the issues which need to be considered to help and support them through the flood.
