Talking About Generative AI for Your Career

This library workshop looks at how generative AI has changed the way we work and how we interact with information.
This activity is offered as part of Future Me Week - five days of exciting opportunities to develop your skills, deepen understanding, gain experience and take steps towards an exciting Future You.

Generative AI is changing the way we think and work. It brings profound opportunities and challenges, and these will be explored in this practical workshop.  

We will use Microsoft Copilot to start a discussion about the benefits and challenges of generative AI and look at how it can be used to find good, quality information. We will look at the challenges and suggest ways to overcome them. 

We will share appropriate resources and techniques that you can use in your professional development when reviewing job sectors. 

No prior knowledge of generative AI is required to attend, and we will provide a demo of Microsoft Copilot and hands-on activities.
