Style Your Career
Style Your Career offers Fashion students a focused, personalised 10-minute one-to-one session with career experts Nicola White and Lisa Law. Think of your degree as your outfit — this is your chance to explore the key “accessories” that will elevate your career look, from work experience and professional networks to confidence and personal branding.
What You’ll Do:
In your individual slot, you’ll meet with your personal Career Stylist to discuss your goals, strengths, and next steps. Together, you’ll identify the experiences and skills that make your career shine and explore practical ways to enhance your professional style. You’ll also have the chance to capture a fun photo with your personalised mannequin, reflecting your unique career identity.
What You’ll Gain:
You’ll leave with a personalised Career Action Plan, useful resources to support your graduate journey, and tailored advice to help you confidently present yourself to employers. The session supports Manchester Met’s graduate attributes by building self-awareness, creative thinking, and proactive career management—helping you curate your future with the same creativity you bring to your fashion designs.
