STRIVE | Mastering LinkedIn for Career Success
This interactive session is designed exclusively for students on the STRIVE programme. Join Sheri Lawal and Sarah Reith, Careers Advisers, for a masterclass on LinkedIn. You’ll get advice on what makes a strong profile and learn how to actually leverage the platform after you’ve strengthened your profile.
We’ll kick off with a fun quiz to get you thinking about your current LinkedIn usage and profile*. You’ll discover the importance of a strong LinkedIn presence through examples of successful profiles and learn how to enhance your own with projects, achievements, and more.
Beyond your profile, you’ll learn how to use the platform effectively to create opportunities for yourself. You’ll get tips on engagement, connections, and networks to leverage the platform and show employers what you’ve got, plus time to put the advice into action.
By the end of this session, you’ll have made progress and have the tools and confidence to make the most of your LinkedIn profile and build a strong professional network.
Take advantage of this exclusive opportunity to elevate your LinkedIn game and open doors to your future career… You’ll be able to put your work into action after the session by networking and connecting with employers at the Spring Graduate Jobs Fair.
*Please note: You should have a LinkedIn account and profile set up prior to this session.
