Please be aware that this course focuses on students in a university and covers subjects that some people may find distressing, including suicide and self-harm. If a delegate feels overwhelmed, they can leave the course at any time. However, if you feel in advance that this subject may be too distressing for you then do not book on.

You will gain your suicide prevention certificate for FREE, accredited by St John Ambulance, for full attendance. There is a comfort break. There is no assessment.
Manchester Met is working with St John Ambulance to deliver this training. If you would like to attend, we will retain a record of your attendance and training outcome reported to us by St John Ambulance and we will also be required to share your full name and student email address with St John Ambulance so that you can be provided with a certificate. We rely on the legitimate interest lawful basis to use your information in this way. A record of your attendance will be retained by the University for the academic year.
