Speaking with Confidence: Creative Ways to Improve Your Speaking Skills

In this workshop, you’ll practise strategies to enhance your speaking skills by engaging with a range of critical and creative techniques. The session will use the collections held in the University’s pioneering Poetry Library.
This activity is offered as part of Future Me Week - five days of exciting opportunities to develop your skills, deepen understanding, gain experience and take steps towards an exciting Future You.

In this workshop, you’ll practise strategies to enhance your speaking skills by engaging with a range of critical and creative techniques. The session will use the collections held in the University’s pioneering Poetry Library.

To help students to communicate confidently demonstrating clarity, empathy, and listening skills. To support students in developing their Influencing skills, so that they can demonstrate the skills of communication, negotiation, and leadership.
