Science and Engineering Spring Self Study: App Design

23rd May 12:00 to 15:00
Learn how to design and test your own prototype app, with a focus on user-centric thinking and inclusive practice.

This self-study has been curated for Science and Engineering students. You can complete it at any time at your own pace. Access the self-study pack here. Follow this link and complete the self-study pack to gain your Rise points.

This self-study pack will take you through the entire process of launching an app idea. It covers the processes of ideation, and of designing your app with attention to how users will interact with it. You’ll then be shown how (even as a non-coder!) you can create a basic static prototype of your idea. Through this self-study pack, you’ll explore design best practice, as well as how to conduct user testing and iteration.
