Sally Heady: Understanding Imposter Syndrome [morning workshop]

Sally Heady, QCH Therapist and Career Coach, will guide you through understanding and challenging the symptoms, causes and triggers of Imposter Syndrome, making us question what is really holding us back.
This activity is offered as part of Future Me Week - five days of exciting opportunities to develop your skills, deepen understanding, gain experience and take steps towards an exciting Future You.

Sally Heady’s Imposter Sydrome workshops are engaging and informed by the latest research in neuroscience, coaching, creativity and positive psychology.

She encourages interaction in a safe, non-judgemental space where people can feel free to express themselves and share their views and insights.

This session will cover: 

  • Understanding what Imposter Syndrome is, including common symptoms both in terms of emotions and behaviours 
  • Common triggers of imposter syndrome
  • What causes imposter syndrome?
  • The lesser known secret of imposter syndrome
  • A brief overview of ‘growth mindset’ as a way of coping with uncertainty and failure.
