Progressing to postgraduate study: is a masters right for me?

Whether you're just considering your options, or you're ready to take the next step, this session is designed to introduce you to postgraduate study and where it could take you.
This activity is offered as part of Future Me Week - five days of exciting opportunities to develop your skills, deepen understanding, gain experience and take steps towards an exciting Future You.

What to expect

At this Q&A panel you’ll hear from postgraduate students and alumni about the benefits of pursuing a masters degree. You’ll learn what to expect from postgraduate study and how to thrive, both during your studies and beyond.

Topics covered

– funding options for postgraduate study

– managing the transition from undergraduate level study

– balancing postgraduate study alongside other commitments

– the opportunities presented by pursuing a postgraduate degree.

Who will be on the panel

The panel will be current postgraduate students and graduates. All audience members are welcome to ask questions in person or via Padlet (the link will be shared on the day).

This session is exclusive to Future me week and relevant for any Manchester Met students interested in finding out more about progressing to a postgraduate course at Manchester Met.
