This activity is offered as part of Future Me Week - five days of exciting opportunities to develop your skills, deepen understanding, gain experience and take steps towards an exciting Future You.

Manchester’s Short Supply will talk you through the essentials in creating your artist/curator statement and C.V’s. This will be gold. Short Supply are an artist led-initiative focused on bridging the gaps between artists/curators and organisations.

  • Understand how to to... present yourself in writing for job and funding applications: insider info and techniques
  • Find clarity on... financial matters for working artists including being freelance, invoicing and paying tax: hear from other creative professionals and take part in practical tasks
  • Understand... what kind of website could work for you and how to build that: a designer will share the ideas and tools you could use to build a website.
