Portfolio Review for Product Designers
We will begin the day with a talk about portfolios, about how to tackle them and how we use them to communicate our practice, skills and creative approach!
You will print out your key projects and you will work with your peers to review, develop and communicate each others projects.
We will look at some job descriptions of roles both design roles and other roles in the creative industries to consider how you might align your skills and experience to these. You will consider how you might reframe your portfolio to potentially apply to these roles and demonstrate the necessary skills.
You will then create a storyboard plan for your portfolio, making notes of any changes, aspects of the project to include in order that you might work towards developing your portfolio to gain some industry feedback.
