Plastic Shed: Circular economies, exploring plastic
A design thinking day looking at how The Plastic Shed work, and an opportunity for you to input ideas into how they engage people in the future
In this full day Sandbox style design thinking day, you will gain deep insight to the Plastic Shed organisation with in-depth information into who we are and what we do
We will talk about our circular economy and aims for the underpinning our organisation with public involvement and engagement.
We will introduce you to our techniques (mini showcase into ironing plastic bags, sewing vinyl etc) and the machinery we use regularly. Followed by a brainstorming session into more items that could be created out of the materials we showcase. Different people will be drawn to a certain type of material and would be interesting to see the type of things people start to think about. This will also allow us to link to other future workshops.
