Peer Cinema Series Presents: Get Out - 19th November - 4.30pm-7pm G.12 SODA Building

This event comprises a screening of a selection of films that will be interesting to explore through an academic lens. Each film in the series includes an introduction by a member of Manchester Met staff from the Psychology and Humanities/ Film Studies courses.

This screening for our Peer Cinema Series will be Jordan Peele’s social critique psychological horror film, Get Out (IMDB: Get Out (2017) – IMDb)

The event will be introduced by Postgraduate Researcher, Iyun Yemi-Shodimu (See Meet our 2025 Resonance Artists for their musical work under the name LINTD). The event will end no later than 7pm.

Post-film discussion amongst staff and students will be encouraged to help to digest the themes of the film!
