
Orchard workshop (7th May) with Hulme Community Garden Centre
Join us for the spring orchard workshop to help take care take of our lovely fruit trees.
Led by our local partner Hulme Community Garden Centre, you will be volunteering alongside other students and staff to learn all about fruit tree care and maintenance.
In this session, we’ll be focussing on undertaking general health checks of the trees, selective weeding around the bases of the trees coupled with a trips to the garden centre (which is 2 minutes walk away) to undertake seasonal crafts.
The workshop will take place in all weather conditions. Please make sure you wear weather appropriate clothing, including suitable footwear (not open footwear allowed).
Meet our student sustainability ambassadors by the entrance to the Brooks building by 1.30pm. Please arrive on time. You may be refused participation if you miss the introductions to the workshop.
