Mark Stay in Conversation with Kirsty Bunting
Novelist and screenwriter Mark Stay and Manchester Met Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing Kirsty Bunting (who publishes as Kiley Dunbar) will be in conversation about taking genre and commercial fiction to global audiences.
Mark is a novelist and screenwriter whose Witches of Woodville fantasy series is published by Simon & Schuster, and whose 2023 horror film Unwelcome premiered at the Sitges Festival and was released by Warner Bros. Mark co-wrote the apocalyptic sci-fi movie Robot Overlords with director Jon Wright for Piers Tempest’s Tempo Productions; it was selected for the 58th BFI London Film Festival. He also wrote the film’s novelisation and hosts the long-running podcast The Bestseller Experiment.
