Leadership, Employability and Development (LEAD) Workshop

21st January 13:00 to 16:00
The Leadership, Employability and Development (LEAD) workshop will empower you to recognise the leader in you and empower you to practice leadership skills to improve your confidence. We will carry out interactive activities to enhance your emotional intelligence and discuss how to deal with issues such as procrastination and imposter syndrome.
This activity is offered as part of Future Me Week - five days of exciting opportunities to develop your skills, deepen understanding, gain experience and take steps towards an exciting Future You.

Exclusively for Science and Engineering students, this Leadership, Employability and Development (LEAD) workshop is a fun and interactive workshop which allows participants to reflect on how leadership is a skill we call can develop and discusses the importance of practicing leadership skills to improve confidence.

This in-person Future Me Week workshop is an inclusive and friendly space in which to discover your potential and set goals for the future.

At the end of the workshop you will join other students from across the Faculty in action learning sets to work together on an individual goal and this will give you a peer-support network going forward.

Student feedback from previous LEAD workshops includes:

‘I have learned that you can still be a leader if you are an introvert’
