Interior Design Students: Design Futures Construction Site Visit
This event will give Interior Design Students insights into real world projects, allowing you to see how designs are translated in to actual built interiors!
This workshop is on campus and gives Interior Design students the opportunity to see a live design project come to life! Come and visit a live construction site (on campus!) with talks by the project designers and building construction company to gain insights about the design and build process.
The new Careers Space in the Business School has been designed by Day Architects and is currently under construction by Greenmount Projects.
The workshop will start at 10am with a site induction, toolbox talks and project presentation by Greenmount Projects and Day Architects in Sandra Burslem building – room G.05.
This will be followed by site visits (in 2 groups) accompanied by the Contracts Manager & Site Supervisor between 11am and 12pm. PPE for the site visit will be provided.
The workshop will conclude with a Q+A session and pizza at 12-1pm!
