Industry Day (School of English)

Kick off the year with Industry Day, a day of panels, workshops and creative showcases designed to provide students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in creative and cultural industries. You will be able to network with industry professionals, gain insights into their industry, and seek advice on how to find a job after graduation.

This event is open to all students in the School of English and includes a FREE LUNCH!

Industry day includes a series of specialist career panels, practical workshops and creative showcases for students in the School of English. Come join us in the Geoffrey Manton building from 12-7 and take part in a jam-packed programme of practical and industry-specific activities, including:

  • Panels about careers in digital, media production, journalism, librarianship and more.
  • Opportunities for free LinkedIn headshots.
  • Workshops about sound work, professional websites, CVs and job applications.
  • An open mic and showcase of the amazing creative work from across the school!

12-7pm, Geoffrey Manton building. Full programme with rooms will be emailed across once you register!
