You may have noticed there’s been a lot growing on around Manchester recently! Environmental charity Hubbub, as part of the city-wide climate programme In Our Nature, have been running a series of community events and trialling creative ways to inspire people across the city to take climate action, using the power of nature as a hook.

Hubbubare on the lookout for In Our Nature ambassadors to spread the message and build on their ideas within their own communities.

You’re invited to a one-day free workshop with the Hubbub team to share ideas, problem solve and come up with a piece of creative communication on how to engage other students with nature and taking climate action. The ideas you come up with could be used as part of the In Our Nature programme and seen by people across the city.

Not interested in nature or climate action? We need you too! We’d love as many people to take part as possible, whether you’re in the sports team, studying psychology, at the Art School, or just in it for the free biscuits provided (there are biscuits).

You can expect:
• To find out about the different innovative ways an environmental charity can bring about real change
• Hear about our experience and learnings from working with Manchester communities to tackle the climate emergency
• Lots of creative activities to generate ideas to help solve a real-life problem
• Time to ask the Hubbub team any questions/get advice
• Opportunity to share ideas and bring them to life
• A chance to work on a live brief and build skills for your CV
