Finance and Economics: How to get a graduate job and stay resilient

23rd February 12:00 to 13:30
A practical session for final‑year Finance & Economics students on how to find suitable graduate roles, make strong applications, and stay resilient throughout the job‑search journey.

Applying for graduate jobs can feel overwhelming, but you’re not doing it alone.

In this session, you’ll get clear, practical advice on how Finance & Economics students can find the right roles, understand what employers are looking for, and make strong applications.

We’ll look at where recent F&E graduates are working, the types of roles you can aim for, and the best places to find high‑quality vacancies. You’ll also pick up simple strategies to stay motivated, manage setbacks, and keep moving forward, even when the job search gets tough.

Leave with a better sense of your options, where to start, and how to stay resilient throughout the process.

This session is for final‑year students in the Department of Finance & Economics.
