Horti-Cultured: In collaboration with RHS Bridgewater and Manchester Fashion Movement
Horti-CULTURED In collaboration with RHS Bridgewater and Manchester Fashion Movement:
“ROOTED” is a fashion show by Manchester Fashion Movement, taking place on 17th May at RHS Gardens Bridgewater. This event explores the emotional and environmental impact of urban disconnection from green spaces, emphasising the vital connection between fashion and nature. Through a visual narrative in three phases—Isolation, Realisation, and Reconnection—the show highlights how inner-city living distances us from nature and how garments originate from the soil.
The catwalk will feature sustainably made garments using zero-waste techniques and slow production brands. Paired with a marketplace, storytelling, talks, sounds, and the beautiful RHS garden setting, the event invites audiences to reimagine their relationship with clothing, nature, and wellbeing.
