Finding your voice and discovering who you really are!

4th November 09:30 to 16:45
Jane James, Director of Inspiration & Passion will share her journey and the surprising secret to success with work, conversations both personally and professionally, so that you can be the best that you can be!

Lecture “Finding your voice”

In a lecture, Jane will present the concept of ‘personality and natural behavioural styles’ to help you navigate how you naturally ‘show up’ and highlighting that by understanding yourself and and how you are perceived by others can parachute your ability to network, communicate and engage effectively.

Effective questioning will also be covered and the need to stay curious whilst being mindful of the type of personality that you are communicating with including how to listen – not to respond but to listen to understand so that you can ensure that your ability to work both in teams and on a 1:1 basis is enhanced.

Workshop

The workshop which follows will include 20 -25 students and in this format Jane will profile each of you using the tools she works with at Little Voices (Expressive – sunshine yellows, Driver – assertive reds, Amiable – friendly greens and Blue – cool analysts) and help you to understand who you are and move on to how to interact with the other students in the group who may be a vastly different style or similar.

The lecture and the workshops set to be fun, interactive and informative.
