In this session, Kiran will explore what truly matters to you—the personal values that guide your choices and fuel your passions.
Effectively YOU: A programme of self study, workshops, and active sessions to support your development. We want you to build your personal confidence and self effectiveness from the inside, outward! So you can share your story with pride, and know your value in the world.

Together, we’ll uncover your “North Star,” helping you find a sense of purpose and direction in both work and life. By connecting your core values with your professional goals, you’ll learn how to build a meaningful and fulfilling career that feels true to who you are.

I’ll also share my own career journey—highlighting the twists, turns, and lessons I’ve learned along the way—and give you a snapshot of the exciting opportunities within Manchester’s creative industries. Whether you’re dreaming of a role in events, content creation, or another creative field, this session will offer inspiration, insights, and practical tips to help you navigate your own path.

Kiran Sethi champions diversity and inclusion, expanding access to Greater Manchester’s creative industries. As Factory Academy lead at Factory International, he’s supported over 1,000 graduates in five years, earning national recognition. A lifelong Mancunian, Kiran is passionate about nurturing local talent and strengthening the region’s creative landscape.
